"Tammy, it's about Perception" by Pat - 7.9.18

"Okay, it is Really Getting Crazy!" by Tammy - 7.8.18

Tammy, it’s all about perception. By you calling those that see the glass half full (you demanding it is really half empty), as wearing rose colored glasses, means you live in the reality of wearing no glasses, so you see the glass half empty? No. You are wearing gray colored glasses. The correct answer should be neutrality. I see it both half full, and half empty, because the possibility is there. I’m open minded to be able to see both sides.

You will perceive what you allow yourself to perceive. If you have a closed mind and want to stay in your comfort zone, you won’t grow and gain knowledge, because you aren’t open to it. You can’t be married to a belief system that rules out all other possibilities. There are too many unknown variables in the universe to be stuck ruling out everything, except the one thing you believe in.

Internal growth is usually limited by one thing, “fear”. Most people won’t immediately recognize it as fear, but at its root it’s your motivation not to have an open mind about other things. One is fearful to change, fear of the unknown and what that could mean, fear of losing your identity of who you’ve always been, fear of having to adjust to things which upsets your comfort, fear of being perceived as crazy, fear of being different from others, fear of God and his possible rejection, and fear of family and ridicule. Yes, it’s easier to put up blinders and just conform to the norm, despite those little hints that pop up in your daily life that make you momentarily question something. Nah, just easier to ignore it. It was my imagination, or my favorite...”It was just coincidence.” We understand too well, because we’ve all been there.

In the beginning, it doesn’t mean you have to believe in those “other” things, but you do need an open mind to the possibility that you may not have it all correct, and things could be different from your current beliefs. That’s a healthy attitude and allows you to grow as you’re exposed to new and different ideas. However, being closed minded and dismissing others with what you deem as crazy beliefs, only means you are ridged in your thinking and don’t want what you believe in, to be threatened. It might upset your comfort zone. Having ridged thinking, and being the mindset that “I’m 100% right and others are wrong.”, really limits your capacity to expand your knowledge, because you aren’t open to it.

You will never see a UFO, unless you are open to it. You won’t allow yourself to see it. You are in control, of what you will allow yourself to perceive. For you to reference that 90% of the people on this site are posting ideas different from yourself, means you are the minority. You should question yourself, as to why you would be so bold to want the 90% to conform to the 10%’s standards?

You have two avenues. Embrace others differences and perhaps gain knowledge from their nuggets of information, or stay ridged in your beliefs and seek other sources that reflect your thinking as the majority.

Personally, I try to stay neutral in my thinking, because it keeps me from being married to one belief. My knowledge is very limited to the grand capacity of the possibilities out there in the universe. Thereby, I don’t pretend that my way of believing is correct. It may be, or it may not be. It matters not to me. If I’m correct, great! If I’m not correct, great, because I just gained new knowledge! I’m neutral because I win either way.

It’s up to you if you want to stay ridged in your thinking. We certainly respect you, regardless of beliefs, because it’s your will to do what you want and take the path you choose. Everyone follows their own path at their own speed. However, just don’t be surprised when the 90% push back on you, because of you wanting them to conform to your standards of the minority mindset on this site.

We hope you stay here and find our posts thought provoking at the very least. All input and beliefs (perspectives) are needed.
