Article: “Member of the alliance of Sadr: Abadi exit from the invitation is better for him and the Iraqis”

Abadi better hurry up and push that button is he wants to look like a hero .....
before his PARTY gets the boot from the PM seat

Popeye70 » June 4th, 2018

Agreed... Whether he receives a 2nd term or not, it would certainly solidify his standing with the Iraqi people in a far more positive light if this were to go before the selection of PM, and the announcement thereof... But the question I have is, "does Abadi have control over whether the increase of the dinar occurs?"... IMHO, no he does not.... But it would still make Abadi look good in the grand scheme of things if it were done now...

US Treasury implements sanctions on Iranian airlines

June 04 2018 05:29 PM

US sanctions 18 Iranian entities for developing ballistic missiles

Following reports of Iranian airlines using their fleet to help transport arms and personnel to Syria, the US Treasury implemented sanctions, with more action to follow according to the Washington Institute, Al-Arabiya said.

The Treasury department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control designated nine entities and individuals involved with providing services to six Iranian airlines supporting the regime’s military activities around the world.

These airlines include Mahan Air, Caspian Airlines, Meraj Air, Dena Airways, Pouya Air, and Blue Airways, the institute reported.

Meraj Pouya and Caspian were previously labeled as airlines that directly support the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps operations in Syria. The newspaper stated that Pouya is the cargo wing of the IRGC and services Syria on a daily basis.

The Treasury has had a history of sanctioning Iranian airlines. In June 2011, Treasury sanctioned the country’s flag carrier, Iran Air, and its subsidiary Iran Air Tours for supporting the IRGC and Iranian Defense Ministry “through the transport and/or transfer of goods for, or on behalf of, these entities.” This included using commercial flights to transport “military-related equipment” and “potentially dangerous cargo” to Syria. link

Does this mean "Dinars Only " served here ?? ... like we in the US get USDs only from our atms

Perhaps no more mcp allowed in the marketplace ... why , whenever I take accumulated coin change to the counting machine at the bank ... it rejects as legal tender the Canadian coins ... Mexican pesos .. and any other country's currency that should happen to show up ... and all foreign banknotes must be exchanged for USDs ... imo

Deputy : The Iraqi Trade Bank refrains from paying the dollar to customers with "Visa"

2018-06-04 at 14:26 (Baghdad time)

The Iraqi Trade Bank (BBI) stopped spending the dollar on its "Visa cards," MP Mithal al-Alusi said on Monday.

Al-Alusi said in an interview with Al-Mawazin News that "the Iraqi Trade Bank refrains from paying customers' dollar bills from their Visa cards."

"The reason for this is due to administrative failure and lack of respect for the contexts and citizens."

It is noteworthy that the Visa cards were exposed last week to holidays in a number of countries. LINK
