Iraqi parliament decides to hold an extraordinary session on Thursday

Is scheduled to hold the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Thursday, an extraordinary session to discuss the parliamentary elections that took place on May 12.

The Information Service of the House of Representatives in a statement reported by local media, the Presidency of the House of Representatives decided to hold a special session at the fourth hour of the afternoon on Thursday, May 24.

She pointed out that the convening of the meeting was based on the request made by a number of deputies who throw the focus on the transparency and integrity of the electoral process.

The House of Representatives held a deliberative session last Saturday in the presence of 105 deputies to discuss the elections.

Hakim from Kuwait: The next Iraqi government will not be Iranian or American

Hakim said during a press conference held in Kuwait and followed by Alsumaria News that "the consultations on the formation of the Iraqi government is going positively," noting that "the Sadrist movement is a key ally of us not today, but for many years and we believe that this bilateral alliance can be a solid nucleus" .

"We are very keen to remove Iraq from any regional or international axis, so Iraq remains for the Iraqis and it is their right to be friendly with everyone," he said. "The next government does not think it will be an Iranian or American government. Iraq to have a good relationship with its Arab neighbors and Muslims and the international community in general. "

Iraqis voted on May 12 to elect their representatives to the House of Representatives in the parliamentary elections, where the coalition ranked first with 54 seats.
