The Security Council will hold next Wednesday, 30 May 2018, a session on the situation in Iraq .

A statement issued on Monday, May 28, 2018, posted on the "United Nations - Iraq" that "the UN Security Council will be held at the United Nations session on the situation in Iraq, next Wednesday," 30 May 2018 "at 10 am New York time," the fifth evening Baghdad time "

"It is expected that the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jan Kubic, briefing shortly after the start of the meeting," adding that "the briefing will be on developments in Iraq and the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq," UNAMI. " LINK

The United Nations Security Council will hold a session on the situation in Iraq on Wednesday.

"The meeting will be held on Wednesday at 10 am New York time (5 pm GMT Baghdad), and the UN Special Representative to Iraq, Jan Kubic, is expected to make a briefing after the session begins," UNAMI said in a press statement. "

Why would UN security council hold a meeting about Iraq at this time now? We know chapter seven is out of the way….could it be something about preparing them entering the global market, like a convertable currency and international banking? Both require a article 8 compliance from the IMF. It could be done already and waiting for release and this meeting is just a normal procedure neeeded before the global manifest …..perhaps……imo.

More coming out in the media.I believe that Samir Nusairi is an advisor to Iraqi banks. This article cites a meeting on Sunday where Al-Alaq echoed the comments made by Nusairi posted this weekend in the Final Article thread. Interesting. Movement, I think.

Demonstrations in Halabja denounce the delay of salaries of employees

Hundreds of Halabja employees demonstrated on Monday to protest the delay in their salaries for several months, demanding that the Kurdistan government expedite the payment of all their dues.

The correspondent / information / / that hundreds of employees demonstrated today in Halabja in protest against the non-payment of salaries since several months by the Kurdistan Regional Government.

He added that the demonstrators called on the Kurdistan Regional Government to pay all their salaries and not to procrastinate in their demands, indicating that the security forces cordoned off the demonstration and prevented citizens from approaching the demonstrators for fear of the expansion of the protests.
