"Re: Digits, Appreciation for the Process" by Candice - 8.3.17

"Digits" - GCR/RV Op-Ed - Thursday - August 3, 2017

While some readers may have felt chastisement from Yosef’s Sitrep, “Digits”, I was reminded of a good friend, whom I met as my first female pastor. After we got to know each other a little better, she lent me a book on Process Theology.

In today's largely patriarchal society, most theology, as well as other elements of our daily life, has focused on product, or,the end game. That is the stereotypical male viewpoint of life. But the feminine energy, which we know has been streaming through the universe, focuses on the process, or, the journey.

Yosef, I totally understand and agree with your points today on appreciating the process of this GCR/RV revolution/evolution. You listed all that the world has gained to this point, which will re-set the bedrock of our new humanity. Kudos to you for embracing the totality of the male/female, product/process, in your personal stance and in your encouragement and lessons to the rest of us in our community.

And, if that were not enough, I just experienced a ‘double whammy’ while watching a Netflix movie called “Seven Days in Utopia”. I had chosen it a few weeks ago, as I thought my husband, an avid golfer, would appreciate it.

Lucas Black plays a golfer on the edge of turning pro, in a tournament in Texas. His father, who has been his mentor and caddy, has used a very strict, end game method in developing his son, who now has a complete meltdown on the 18th hole and storms off the course, speeding his way along country roads to a fork, where he must make a choice.

The fork he takes leads him to Utopia, Texas, a small town of 373 people, and in his distracted anger, he drives through a farm fence to avoid hitting a large steer. Robert Duvall plays the cowboy, Johnny, who dares Luke to spend a week with him while his car is being repaired, a week in which he will try to improve Luke’s game.

Johnny, a former pro golfer, has unique ideas about sharing his wisdom of life, and golf. The processes he uses include fly fishing, painting, and throwing washers. By the end of the week, Luke has definitely been inspired by Johnny’s insistence on not thinking so much, but rather, “seeing, feeling, and trusting”.

Johnny gives Luke a parting gift of an exemption to the Valero Texas Open. Here is Luke’s chance at redemption. He is awed by Johnny’s gift, and Johnny must tell him that “gifts are not meant to be repaid, they are meant to be passed on.”

Yosef, I began following IDC last October. I very rapidly became an avid member of this family. And this was without owning any currency! As a lightwkrker, I only wanted to help bring forth the changes that would come with the re-set. I am feeling really happy with the global changes that you listed!

Then, voila! Back in early April a stranger gifted me one Zim. My journey changed overnight! I would now be “in the game”, as I mentioned in one of my posts. My humanitarian business plan has been ready since May, and I spend many hours daydreaming about my plans to make a difference in our world.

Yet, the process is still very much a part of my understanding and appreciation.

At the end of “Seven Days in Utopia”, the viewer is led to the website: www.didhemaketheputt.com for more about the film/book and its sequel. The author, Dr. David L. Cook, invites us to discover more about Luke’s life lessons, which might be summed up best by Sarah, a horse whisperer and new friend of Luke’s. While out catching fireflies one night, Luke wonders why the insects stop glowing when they’re inside the glass jar. She tells him that their light cannot shine while they feel trapped, that he must take off the lid and set them free, in order to see their light.

As we come near the point of our redemptions, and the beginning of our humanitarian projects, please remember to cherish your freedom, a gift of grace from Source, and to share that freedom and light with as many people as possible!

Love to you all,
Candice, the name my father gave me, which I’ve learned means “glittering white light”…
