"Re: Teething! Days Gone" by K - 7.12.17

"Teething" - GCR/RV Op-Ep - Tuesday - July 11, 2017

I remember when I first found myself an expectant parent here in IDC and found that the delivery was delayed and then delayed again, and again, and found it a very unnatural pregnancy. My question is how can we have a problem like "teething" when the baby still hasn't become part of the family. I understand that there may be others in maternity and babies are arriving, but it behooves me how there has been enough time for "teething problems" to have manifested.

As I read the explanation that the prognosis for delivery and bringing our baby home was again looking like it would be delayed, I became overwhelmed with prepartum depression. I had almost called the real estate lady to get our touring appointment to finally see the home we have chosen and prayed over for the past four months. We know it is ours and trust that the Lord has his angels watching over it as the owners are out of the country and we could have moved in already. A great home for our new baby! There are many struggles going on as I write. I am watching my daughter fearful of losing her husband, and I am watching my 2 yr old granddaughter walk like a cripple because of the need for a "real" orthopedic physician. We drive 2 hrs. to see our doctor due to the lack of experienced physicians in this area. The pain we are feeling as expectant parents doesn't stop at our door it extends into our community and across the county south into a small community where all the homes are over 80 years old and in need of immediate attention.

Yosef, I know you know the discomfort of this delay as it relates to actually going to exchange. I know that you have been instructed to paint a word picture of cause for delay. For what my opinion is worth, you did a very thoughtful and sensitive job. Only a papa with a teething baby would be able to write such an accurate review! I used to have to stay up most of the night with one of mine, just as I have staying up so many nights expecting baby RV. I guess I am a parent that knows the baby is about to arrive but still can't relate to the "teething" delay.

Sometimes when someone is expecting, in labor, and on the way up the elevator up to the delivery room but the elevator stops there is concern that things aren't going as smooth as they should. I read how the banks are becoming so busy exchanging smaller amounts that they can't take deposits and are running out of cash. Then I read that there was concern about the value of the ZIM bond. I wondered how the ZIM exchanges at the exchange centers could either affect the banks or that waiting any longer to exchange the ZIM could be a reason for the delay. If we could hydrate or cash from our ZIM into the communities the banks might be better off. The exchange centers are off the grid so we wouldn't be overwhelming the banks. Hope to see the doors open on the elevator and see the arrow pointing to "Delivery Room"! PaPa and I looked at each other today after we read "Teething" and the look in our eyes was close to shock. I know it wasn't your fault. In fact, I think you are courageous for hanging in and running the trenches.

But, gotta say, "there is no Teething Pain here"! Love Love K
