"Da Good News: B-RU-TAL Ver 2.0 will End!" by Dezerro - 7.12.17

Entry Submitted by Dezerro at 4:54 PM EDT on July 12, 2017

Da bad news - B-RU-TAL Ver 2.0 is underway.

All go or none go.

When the going gets tough - the tough get going (now applicable).

I'm glad I'm *NOT* on a New West wagon train,

peering through my binoculars to hopefully spot a desert outhouse still standing (praying to the relief gods it will still flush),

noting the wind, and planning to patent the procedure of sandblasting,

having a real, real rough time praying to the sun gods,

having NO trouble praying to the rain gods,

in 135 degree utterly insane desert heat,

with local, well tanned fellows hurling arrows at me,

with a broken wagon wheel,

looking for a scraggly buzzard, coyote, jackrabbit or desert troll to eat,

chopping barrel cactus for a nasty-ass tasting drink of local liquid,

knocking and dumping sandstorm residue out of my ears and everything else,

hoping the wagon master's compass is real, real well made,

hoping the wagon master is real, real well made,

trying to remember how to squint,

wondering if my wagon will roll straight and true down the next cliff,

and...chanting for the arrival of some mythical mystical B-RU-TAL ver. 2.0 for a bit of damn relief.

Ahhhh life.
