"Biblical Perspective in Light of the RV" by One Who Lives - 7.21.17

Entry Submitted by One Who Lives at 8:49 AM EDT on July 21, 2017

In Luke 21, Jesus leaves the crowds and city each day to find refuge on the Mt. Olives, a place of solace. What is seemingly insignificant is quite the opposite.

In the New Testament, Jesus often travelled over the Mount of Olives on the 40-minute walk from the Temple to Bethany. He also went there to pray or to rest and to gain sufficient strength for the next day….meeting the peoples spiritual, physical and emotional needs.

The Mt. Of Olives relevance for us….. "And everyday he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet. 38 And early in the morning all the people came to him inthe temple to hear him.

Numerous historic events in the Old and New Testament centered around this very special place. Let us to be mindful of the time we are living in and embrace it. Knowing Jesus is indeed King of King and Lord of Lords.
