"The Role of Money In Ascension" - One Who Knows - 5.9.17

Dear OWK,

OK, I understand about 95% of what you are saying. Feed the hungry. House the homeless. Got it. That's all common sense. Done.

Here's where I get confused: "Money wipes out the fear of no money." Not really. It all depends on one's mental framework. A trillionaire thinking thoughts of lack will soon lose all his money. Fact. So, if we were to suddenly convert a homeless person to millionaire, he would HATE it. He would be uncomfortable and lose all the money over a weekend. That approach is cruel. It doesn't help him at all.

A much more humane approach is to meet him where he's at, listen to him, feed him, clothe him, etc., then CAREFULLY lift up his consciousness. I envision one-on-one contact within a setting where he can feel he belongs to a community. These guys are usually quite mentally ill, so this may take many years.

Lessons Learned: The State of Utah has an innovative program to provide bank-owned houses to homeless. In the early days of the program, the homeless would sleep in the front door threshold, huddled against the door with their pile of stuff. They didn't understand the entire house was theirs. It took a while for the administrators to realize they needed to place these folks in a group home at first to socialize them. As their consciousness rose, they got more and more of the appropriate attention. After a while they were comfortable living in the entire house. It's not easy bringing these folks back. It takes a LONG time.

Here's another place I get confused: There's absolutely no question money has been used to enslave humanity. Paying taxes is simply not feasible without money. It forces us to work at jobs we hate, to buy shit we don't want, to impress people we don't like. Insanity. Money is just plain icky. It soils the spirit of any transaction it touches. Would you rather get a hand-made gift or a check for your birthday? The sooner we can chaff off the concept of money the better!

So, why are you pushing the concept of money so adamantly? Weird. It doesn't add up.

I think you should tell people our goal is to use money to make money obsolete. The secret is self-sufficient communities. What's a community? Anything that is NOT an institution (corporation, government, school, etc.). Think Amish doing a barn raising. We don't need a friggin corporation to build our barns. Our home-built barns are better and cheaper. This self-sufficiency movement is already underway. Transition Towns, Eco-Village, permaculture movement, etc., already work quite well without money. Even the so-called "preppers" get it. Yes, they are prepping out of fear, but they are self-sufficient within a tight community. They don't need money. They trade within the small community. And they will eventually lose the fear when the institutions are gone. Unbuntu, baby.

So, Mister OWK, your advice is sound, but somewhat dangerous without the proper caveats. Without the full understanding of how homeless people think, throwing money at them will only make matters worse. And no matter how adamantly you press the fact that money is a part of the plan, which it is, that does not change the FACT that money is the prime mechanism of human bondage. Money and all the institutions it creates MUST go away eventually.
