"Exchange Response to DA" by Sandstorm - 4.26.17

Entry Submitted by Sandstorm at 11:00 PM EDT on April 26, 2017

Could you please clarify the ZIM exchange process regarding the higher rates in relation to exchanging during the Early Segment Plan as opposed to once the GCR goes "Live"?

It is my understanding that once the GCR goes "live" the segmented process begins with the release of the 800#s. At that time you will be able to call your bank, explain that you have currency and they will encourage you to come in and exchange with them.

BUT- if you have ZIM, you will call the first 800# and tell them what currencies you hold (HOT HOW MUCH) and provide your zip code. They will then give you the closest locations for you to choose and once you choose, you will be given a second 800# (you do not share this number with anyone) linked to you and the location you have chosen. Then you will call the second 800# and arrange your appointment. At your appointment you will be able to to take the screen rate (no NDA) of approximately $3.00 USD per $1.00ZIM OR you can ask for privately negotiated rates of your choice. If you negotiate your own rates, be prepare to discuss your humanitarian plans you should probably bring notes on.

In the Restored Republic via a GCR as of April 26 2017, C. 4 and 5, it states,

4. Once the GCR is "Live" any bank you call will confirm that there was a GCR.

5. The bank will want you to come in and exchange with them, but they will not have the higher rates available.

4 and 5 are both correct. It is my understanding that they will not be able to offer anything more than screen rates, A.K.A. no privately negotiated rates. ZIM will only be handled by HSBC exchange locations via the 800#s.

For those who want the higher rates for humanitarian projects, is there going to be adequate time for the internet groups to exchange during the Early Segment Plan? If not, can you please clear up this inconsistency?

As long as you have signed-up for the Intel Dinar Chonicles notification, you will have nothing to worry about. You will receive the 800# as soon as it is news to Patrick and then you will be able to call and set up your exchange appointment. You can apply for the the 800# notification at the link below.
