(Notes by Adept1):

TNT Call notes 31-March-2017

Replay 641.715.0623, PIN CODE 409029#

RayRen: Good afternoon, super-fantastic TNT family! Today is Fantabulous Friday, March 31, 2017, with RayRen98 here on the controls. We are going to go into today’s session because we didn’t want to go into the weekend without something to expect. The tweet said, “Missed expectations? Maybe not. Misinterpretations Maybe so?”

We say that because other folks have been talking about indicators that are looking good for something to unfold today, and of course today is not over. However, this is the last day of the quarter, and some folks are saying it has be done in this quarter to back date pay to the beginning of the year. That expectation came to me as well, of not going into the second quarter without something taking place. It doesn’t mean things are not taking place, we just aren’t seeing them in public yet.

On Iraqi television, the US treasury gave Iraq an award fro getting their banks online, so we know that’s not an issue. Citizens are receiving information about the car bombs; some think that was by ISIL, causing civilian casualties. PM Abadi has called for the UN to lift Chapter VII, and some argue that is not even necessary, might just be window dressing. That’s about it for information, although there is a lot of scuttlebutt. We are not going to the bank just yet, but there is still some expectation that may change over the weekend; we’ll have to wait and see. Those who really do have the answers are not talking. However, expectation is high in Iraq, in the banks here, and across the board. We are still seeing an ‘any hour, any day’ situation, with some things not being talked about. All that makes me expect this will go at any time.

Questions from the TNT forum

Q: Should we disguise ourselves, rent a car to go to the exchange? [??] Should we have them close the account after depositing the funds and transfer the funds into another account etc.? [RR: What would be the reason for that? In the past, when we were expecting currency dealers to wire the exchange right into our bank accounts, then we would transfer it to another account so that it couldn’t be clawed back. That is the not the case now.] Is there anything else we need to do to protect ourselves and our funds on exchange day?

A: Where are you getting this crazy stuff from?! No, I don’t know of anything else to protect yourself. I think some are getting this out of proportion and taking it to extremes.

Q: I know your excitement/anticipation level has recently been quite high. Has this moved up a couple or few digits since Wednesdays call, if so what has changed in details please?
A: Yes, it has moved up, but I cannot tell you what has changed in detail. Expectation is higher and sounding good.

Q: Ray, do you know any banks in Michigan that sell dinar?
A: You have to do your own due diligence and find out for yourself.

Q: Have you heard much about the dong lately? It’s been a bit quiet, even more so than the dinar.
A: No, I haven’t heard much myself; so far as I know, everything is on target.

Q: About your update today, was that a blessing from the US to get this RV going, and was it an RV announcement at the same time?
A: No, no announcement of an RV.

Q: What do you say to these economists who look at the numbers and do the math and claim the dinar is at the right price NOW.. and will not be worth more than a penny in the foreseeable future?
A: Some people are too smart for their own good.

Q: Have you heard of when first getting 1800 #s you must identify asking about if the bank there are sending you to is Basel 3 compliant to get a better rate? or you will be handled as street rate?
A: Since when does Basel III have anything to do with getting rates? Clearly someone has been listening to other people, and that is not the purpose of Q+A. I’m here to clarify what you here from ME, not others.

Live Q and A

865/404 caller: I hope this is the last pre-RV call. The Gazette posted on Wednesday – anything relevant to what we are looking for?

RayRen: I didn’t mention the Gazette in my opening statement, so what does that tell you about the Gazette? It’s been nowhere in my mind. If there was something worth knowing, I would share it. My additional information just says that we are still on target, still on course.

Caller: How critical is it that the US Secretary General be on hand? Is he part of this process, or just window dressing that he was in Iraq?

RayRen: I don’t have any indication of what he was doing as relevant to our concerns.

941 caller: I know there is a lot you haven’t out – planning to do that any time soon? Will they [those blocking this] be visible when this happens? I like to know my enemies.

RayRen: When it’s pertinent, I will. There’s just a little I cannot say. These are not necessarily your enemies, either. This scenario is not about US, we are just a few pesky Americans, picking up the crumbs.

370 caller: I got booted off the website and wonder how to get back on it. They purged some people, I guess. You’re worrying me now that it’s going to be nothing but TNT members, and I want to get back on the site!

RayRen: If it comes to that, you will have every opportunity to rejoin. We all hope it will happen in the next few days so that we don’t have to reorganize the site.

704 caller: A few weeks I talked to my bank, and they took the dong off the list. Is it wise to get other currencies, or just to stay with what I’ve got? I was surprised to see the rates on some of the other currencies, like $3.

RayRen: It’s wise to know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. If you don’t know about those currencies or why to get them, it’s easier to leave them alone and not touch them. If you know about those currencies and plan on a particular result, then it might be wise to invest in those currencies. Do the research you require to know for yourself, rather than just buying because someone else said so. It’s easy to buy a currency that yields a $3 rate, but it depends on the buy rate!

CO caller: There is a law that people aren’t talking about, that’s about the deletion of the three zeros. Did you see my post in the forum? We are waiting for a law [silence]

Next caller: We are concerned that those of us who are not in the forum might not have access, and we won’t know how to get hold of the 800 numbers. You calls are important to all of us.

RayRen: This is not the last call for you all. Nothing has changed. It is the end of the month and if what I’m looking for doesn’t happen before Monday, then we may have to think about changes. If so, you will get advance notice. What I shared before was a thought process about a solution, not “on April 1, we are doing this’. I was counting on this being the last week pre-RV, in which case it will be a moot point anyway. I will give people sufficient notice and a chance to adjust. Today is not the last day, and none of you has anything to worry about in terms of future changes. I just gave out a strategy of what I thought might work best based on member structure and who is doing what.

281 caller: I know we’ve been expecting this any day; is it still the case that TNT members are still going before the public release? Or will everyone go at once when it is released? I’m wondering if everyone will get to go earlier, before the public green light goes on. How much sooner could we go than the public?

RayRen: I really don’t know. At one time I thought it would be a free-for-all; other times, the banks have said, “we’re going to be processing somebody” in the next few says. It’s hard to say until it unfolds. We’ll just have to wait it out and see what happens.

NY caller: I remember you talking about having classes anyone can attend, but you have to be on the list. How do you get on that list?

RayRen: The post-RV workshops? I’ll send you a text.

716 caller: I don’t know if you mentioned anything about the Zim, and the rules of that exchange? Also, at one point Pam banned me, and I’d like to get back in. Pam was supposed to call me, and never got back to me.

RayRen: I don’t know anything about what you are referring to, which is an answer. Anybody that was ever banned, it was always for a good reason; I won’t interfere with what any Mod did to control the membership of TNT. There are those who ran into a glitch in the system, and we helped them with passwords. Also, at one point we reset the membership, and you might have got caught up with that. We’ll see what happens.

713 caller: The red-wax-sealed envelope Sadr was supposed to open this morning – do you know what that was? Anything from the mosques?

RayRen: That has not come in yet; if it does, I will post about it in the forum.

918 caller: let’s see if I’m following here – all the comments people have about Mosul, ISIL, the Budget or mosques or announcements from ABadi – those are all part of the process, but it all goes back to the tweet you put our last Sunday. You can hear many things, but only the central bank sets monetary policy. You said Iraqi television said that the CBI had established a rate that must be adhered to. I think that is what we are waiting for: the CBI to announce that rate publicly. That is not necessarily our Go time, but it is close. Do you agree or disagree with that?

RayRen: That could be the reality, yes.

501 caller: Can you explain about ‘misinterpretation’ in the tweet?

RayRen: I know members listen to and read a lot of different things; I can tell by what they ask me about, because often I didn’t give out that information. There is nothing wrong with that, but it can lead to misinterpretations and disappointment. Maybe the information was just ‘off’ anyway. So I said that to cover a lot of things that might or might not have happened, or been said, to help people not be down in the dumps.

786 caller: The Zim… are those ZWD notes?

RayRen: I have no idea, have never even tried to enquire. Once I was talking to some bank people, they said there were three different codes, and that was confusing enough. When it’s time to go to the bank and do an exchange, and we are talking zim, I’m just going to say, “Three digits; let’s talk.” The code won’t matter because I want to negotiate a rate.

Caller: I was looking on a currency site that had a good rate for Zim, but I haven’t found a bank that deals with Zim. That code was ZWD, so somewhere someone thinks that is the code. I heard we might have to go through the military bases.

RayRen: Okay, we’ll see what happens.

Closing Statement

We are in a good position; I’m still excited. There is still some benchmarks to look forward to, and some are still holding ‘by the end of the quarter’, which is tonight. Others are looking into April. What has been said, what has happened and been projected – I’m still feeling good about the whole situation. Something could happen between now and Sunday, for sure. Should something happen this weekend, I think it might not be for all of us, but for some of us, and that implies the rest of us will go next week. This is all based on some things I’ve been told are supposed to happen, but I haven’t yet received information on those. Other things supposedly have taken place, but I haven’t seen proof as yet. The proof is in the pudding, and I think that is what more of you are interested it, rather than rumors without clear indication it’s taken place. So we sit back, wait, have all our plans together. When we hear something positive, I try to substantiate it. I anticipate hearing more things over the weekend, and then we will see where we fall in that picture, to help you take advantage of that. It’s Friday; let’s have a good weekend, and attend to other things in life.

If anything positive happens, I will update in the forum and send out a tweet. Keep believing…
