"Something In-Between?" - Guest Post by Tasha Pup

Entry Submitted by Tasha Pup at 6:37 PM EST on November 26, 2016

How About Something "In-Between"?

I will get right to the point...my friend and I were talking about pulling back from our obsession with all things RV...and wanted to concentrate more on our list of humanitarian projects...because RV or no, those "needs" are still there, as our world is currently constructed.

Soooo...we both were thinking the same thing at the same time...while we are waiting for the RV to happen...and even though we don't have the "big money" to begin our large humanitarian projects...why not find/create "something in-between"?

I was reviewing my "list" of humanitarian project ideas today, to see if there are any that could be "scaled down", that I can begin implementing today...and I will offer an example of what I am talking about.

One of the projects on my list, is to help our local "Food Pantry", to expand its operations. Well, as I don't have a lot of money to give them, right now...to help them expand their physical operations...I am going to go and ask them if there is anything I can do, to help them, in any way. I am thinking maybe I can go to some of our local businesses that deal with food, and see if I can become a "courier"...to pick up any usable food items from the businesses, then deliver it to the Food Pantry. Maybe I will be helping them to "expand", but in a smaller, and different way, while waiting to be able to do the bigger versions of projects.

I truly believe there are many "projects" out there, that will fit this new "criteria"...and I put out a friendly "challenge" to all who are waiting on the RV, with a humanitarian project list in hand, to do the same!

Well, thanks for listening, All. I am going to keep looking at my list, with my different "perspective", now. I would love to hear from anyone else, if they find an "in-between" project of their own. Blessings to you All!! Tasha Pup.
