"Beginning to the End" - Wed. PM KTFA Thoughts/News

KTFA

IMO Family we pray for any lives lost in the Grand Old Mosque...and mourn the physical loss of such an artifact and part of Iraqi history....but at the same time it would appear to me that Abadi has proof positive of a cause for celebration and "official" international announcement that the terrorists are no more....

Sure there will always be pockets....but the driving force has been annihilated....or maybe a better way to say has annihilated themselves.....the phagocytosis that Frank suggested the other day.....yet another IMO that becomes more factual with time......

Let this be the beginning of the end....and the rebirth of a new nation on a world level......a level that welcomes all in to help with the reconstruction of the rubble.....for from the wreckage will come something beautiful that will make a great mark on this planet.....

It is planned.....it is called for.....and we shall be a part of it.....the BEST is coming.....God is on the Throne and speaks to all....even those who will not listen....let the voice of KTFA soon be heard and known to the corners of the earth. Aloha Randy

Sad video of Al Nuri humpback minaret being brought down

Although the film is blurry, you can see the explosive charges detonating through the sides of the minaret.

I understand that ISIS have claimed a US airstrike was responsible but the aerial image of the demolished mosque appears to have been explosive demolition of the main building, but the dome is intact. I think Daesh expected it to come down with the surrounding building.

The good news is that we can safely say that this signifies Daesh acknowledging defeat.

Islamic State blows up landmark Great Mosque of al-Nuri and famous leaning minaret in Mosul

21 JUNE 2017 • 8:28PM

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorists have blown up the landmark Great Mosque of al-Nuri and its famous leaning minaret in Mosul, the Iraqi army has said.

The Iraqi army had launched a push, backed by British and American forces, to regain the medieval mosque and surrounding areas from Isil earlier on Wednesday.

"Our forces were advancing toward their targets deep in the Old City and when they got to within 50 yards of the Nuri mosque, Daesh (Isil) committed another historical crime by blowing up the Nuri mosque and the Hadba" mosque, Staff Lieutenant General Abdulamir Yarallah, the overall commander of the Mosul offensive, said in a statement.
