AIIB Approves 7 New Members

The China-backed Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank said on Saturday it had approved seven new members to join the bank, a day before China’s biggest diplomatic event of the year kicks off, Xinhua reported.

Leaders from 29 countries will attend China’s new Silk Road forum in Beijing on Sunday and Monday, an event orchestrated to promote President Xi Jinping’s vision of expanding links between Asia, Africa and Europe underpinned by billions of dollars in infrastructure investment.

The new members are Bahrain, Bolivia, Chile, Cyprus, Greece, Romania and Samoa, bringing the bank’s total membership to 77 countries.

at a time when the global and regional economy is facing many challenges, was launched in Beijing on Saturday , the summit "belt and road", which attracts the world's attention once again to build a "belt and road" ( the economic belt of the Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road of the century atheist twenty ).

He offered Chinese President Xi Jinping, during the summit, the Prime Minister of Greece, heavily indebted, Alexis Tsipras strong support on Saturday, saying: The two nations should expand their cooperation in infrastructure, energy and telecommunications.

Shi Tsipras told that Greece is an important part of China 's strategy for the new Silk Road.

It quoted the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Shi: The cooperation in the energy and basic evidence and communication must be "deep and strong".

Visit Tsipras Beijing to attend a summit meeting to promote the vision of Chinese President Xi to expand relations between Asia, Africa and Europe, backed by billions of dollars of investments called New Silk Road initiative.

It quoted the Chinese Foreign Ministry Shi as saying that "China should focus their efforts and Greece to turn the port of Piraeus to an important international center for recharging an important part of the new Silk Road".

This summit will add new strength for the global economy by strengthening the common growth of the countries of the world as Chinese President Xi Jinping urged on Saturday to launch talks with Switzerland to upgrade bilateral free trade agreement between the two countries as soon as possible.

President Xi made the remarks during his meeting with Swiss President Doris Leuthard , who is visiting Beijing to attend the forum belt and the road for international cooperation due to his start on Sunday and lasts for two days.

It is being implemented "belt and road" in the continents of Asia, Europe and Africa, a link between the Department of Economic Development in East Asia and the European Economic Chamber states between the two circles and has great economic potential initiative.

China calls on the countries concerned to build a closer partnership network through the process of policies, enterprises, trade, finance and interdependence of peoples.
