Re: "The Huge Difference Between Want and Need"- One Who Believes - 8.17.16

Dear One Who Knows,

Your formula that What+Why=Manifestation presupposes that in every case what is wanted is "good" and only leads to positive creation. But what happens when what someone wants is "bad," or is an imposition to others, or is destructive? What if someone wanted to set fire to that house seven miles away and they had determined a stack of why's 10 feet tall? That's a lot of manifesting energy! Does the Universe only want for people's good wants to come into being?

I would argue that your formula is lacking one very important ingredient, and that is faith.

Now, at the risk riling up old Jehovah, I will boldly state that faith is not "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" as found in Hebrews 11:1. Faith is belief, and belief is a real challenge for most people. Borrowing a few lines from "What the Bleep Do We Know":

"Most people don't affect reality [me: manifest] in a consistent, substantial way because they don't believe they can. They write an intention and then they erase it, because they think 'that's silly-- I mean -- I can't do that.' And then they write it again, and then they erase it. So time average, it's a very small effect. And it really comes down to the fact that they believe they can't do it.

"If you accept with every rudiment of your being that you will walk on water, will it happen?

"Yes, it will.

"But you know, it's, uh--it's like positive thinking. It's a wonderful idea, positive thinking...but what it usually means is that I have a little smear of positive thinking covering a whole mass of negative thinking. So thinking positive is not really thinking positive. It's just disguising the negative thinking that we have."

Faith is hard to pull off. But our species can only manifest what we fully believe in -- no matter how many what's and why's we amass. I'll give you a personal example of how faith can manifest into reality.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with systemic scleroderma, which is a condition in which all the body's connective tissue (which is everything but one's bones) slowly erodes until one is dead. Like Chron's Syndrome, the medical community has no idea what causes systemic scleroderma and therefore offers no cure for it, only trial and error attempts at pharmaceutical treatments. (SS is a cash cow for Big Pharma, btw.)

Well, as advanced as I was at the point of diagnose -- unfortunately my brain was one of the first things to start breaking down -- I had enough self-determination to decide that I was not going to die from that awful condition, and I wasn't going to take any of those toxic medications. I was going to pick a natural remedy to heal myself and I WAS GOING TO BE HEALED. PERIOD.

I landed on diatomaceous earth as a healant (turns out systemic scleroderma is caused by a parasite), and I had faith that it was the cure, and I accepted with every rudiment of my being that I would be healed -- and I was. The healing of my body was visible within a few days. Never at one point along my healing journey did I doubt that I would heal completely from that deadly condition. Yes, I Wanted to be healed and I had a mountain of Why's, but it was Faith that led to the manifestation of cure.

OWK, I would love to know your thoughts on my premise that without faith "bad" wants would be as easily manifested as "good." Can we be a team in developing out this theory?
