"Easy to Eliminate Hunger in USA" by Pat - 4.10.17

Entry Submitted by Pat at 8:39 PM EDT on April 10, 2017

Maybe I'm over simplifying the problem, but it seems pretty easy to eliminate all hunger in the USA, or other developed countries. It's the undeveloped that is truly challenging as I see it.

It would only take a few Zim holders to purchase all grocery store chains in the USA. Then you let them continue to operate but just give the food away for free for all. Obviously you would have to put on some limitations to stop those that like to hoard. However, No more hunger.

Example....Kroger is the largest grocery chain. It has 2778 stores in 34 states. It also owns Fred Meyers and some other grocery chains. From their financials , their annual expenses are 107 billion. They own 33 billion in assets, so maybe 50 billion to buy them. Just doing a rough calculation, over 30 years, its about 4 trillion dollars in expenses. Pocket change for a Zim holder.

You would need other Zim holders to buy out the other chains in the country and do the same thing, because the other chains would go bankrupt otherwise with free food being supplied. Don't want that to happen. Replicate this throughout the world and no hunger in developed countries.

The 3rd world countries are the challenge. The problem is logistics with them. We can supply the food, but it's getting it to them that is the problem. Maybe buy a fleet of jets and various other aircraft that would be strictly dedicated to dropping pallets of food directly into villages? Logistics is the key.

Zim holders need to think BIG! REAL BIG!

Namaste.
Pat
