Day 5: Staying Grateful and Relaxed
Most of us have so much happening at the same time, but we approach our day from a standpoint of negativity. We wake up in the morning and groan, "Oh, I have so much to do today! I don't know how I'm possibly going to get it all done." We feel like there simply aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish our do-do list, and we wonder if we could crawl back under the covers and wish it all away.
A far better way to approach your busy life is to remember that your goal is to be grateful at all times because life is a work in progress. Yes, you have a lot on your plate, but that's a great thing because your life is fluid and exciting with new people, places and opportunities to explore. You can recognize that there are things you will rush to do in your day, things you don't want to do but have to do, and things that remain a mystery because you're not sure if you're looking forward to them or not.
If you stay in a place of gratitude about all of your categories, you will be able to work on each with an open and clear mind instead of shutting down over one category, and then not being able to work any of the others because you're stuck in a negative vortex.
Staying in gratitude helps maintain the even flow of your
life and will keep you creating with ease. You will not allow yourself
to be stopped if any one task isn't working out.
You will carry on from a positive place.
