"General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"
And that brings us to tonight's word: TEAR DOWN THIS WALL.
Still not saying goodbye. I was close this morning, but no cigar. Although, every day gets us closer to saying sayonara, Hiawatha. And yesterday was YUGE . Everyone is looking at Iraq but it looks like Zimbabwe got to announce the RV. That's what we call a backdoor surprise. Ouch. Makes sense to keep focus in the lower payout currency. What are all those Iraq guys saying today? Do they even know? beLIEve?
What do you say when it's all been said? No ideas in the house and every book has been read? What's left for us to talk about and if somebody says NDA or clawbacks.....Please don't. Please I'm begging you.
If you listen to last nights real truth call Yosef talked about how difficult the process of change is going to be. Think it would be easy to show up with a couple tons of money and change the world right? The money will be there, the concepts will be there, our hearts will be there, but the process of getting that circus elephant a.k.a. city governments/ municipalities to expand their mind is going to be difficult. Sounds like he's speaking from experience here as he's already done a lot of legwork for his projects, so I'm listening. He brought up simple needs of porta potties, honestly how many of us here are thinking about Porta potty's? Like the saying goes "Them porta potty ain't going to change themselves". So, in Ross Perot fashion, "I'm all ears". A lot of us are gonna be starting cold and I guess we're gonna learn through baptism by fire what exactly he's talking about. Jump in the deep end. School of hard knocks. Take your pick.
He said something that the surrender process will aid in leaving yourself open to help battle the ignorance of those we're trying to help. "It's extremely helpful. It allows you to work through the ignorance faster... You are opening your channels to receiving higher intelligence. And only through higher intelligence can you work through the madness of ignorance quickly...if at all." Not ignorance in a bad way but more like a false conditioning of some very nice people. I'm not pushing the surrender thing anymore, I've done that enough, but last night he had a new twist on it which was interesting. Open up my ham radio to receive higher intelligence Intel? Yes, please.
Ps tail end of 11/29/16 RTC CALL. Worth a listen. Not date and rate stuff but he's on it.
He brought up going to city council meetings. Going to visit city counselors. Being present. Getting out there and changing their minds one meeting at a time. Oh doesn't that sound like fun? Not really what I had in mind with the quadrillion zeros in my bank account. But that's the reality , it's not going to be as glamorous as maybe we thought in our heads at two in the morning. Riding in on a fine white stallion, chest plate made of silver, long flowing locks of hair (I could buy that right?), a paid choir to follow me around...What's that? Take a seat? It's going to be a four hour meeting? There's stale donuts in the back? Cold Folgers? Ah, hell no! Guess I grew up on too much Disney.
Question for the room: sitting on a beach in St. Thomas at sunset or going to a city Council meeting mid-January in the freaking basement of all places ? Going to have to pray on that one. St. Thomas of The Golden Sand hear my prayer...
I guess it's a teensy reminder that we are going to be running into some walls and we as the chosen ones are going to have to be creative to go over, around, under or right thru these walls without getting frustrated to the point of giving up. I guess that's the final cabal flipping the bird to us. Good one, didn't see that coming. But I can take a good bird flipping every now and then. No problem, mon. It's all irie, brothers and sisters. Ps anyone want to go in on fixing Jamaica? Let's do it for Bob.
The takeaway from last nights call? I think I might find a PR person who is less abrasive and more patient than myself to go to the city council meetings. I'll let them work with city councils and let them show the light of our blessings. I can just sit in the back of the room and watch the fireworks go off sans stallion and golden locks. Keeps my anonymity and the work will probably get done smoother and faster. The spirit works in mysterious ways.
So when that one year on the job public servant wants to kick you out of the meeting for proposing $5 billion no strings attached to clean up homelessness in your city because he can't wrap his small mind around it, look him in the eye and say "Mr. Councilman, tear down this wall." *mic drop*
And that's the word.
