RE: Seamless ("Seamless" - GCR/RV Update - Saturday - 11.19.16)
“As You sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world.” — Jesus in John 17:18
And that leads me to tonight's word: CHRISTINESS.
As we patiently await God to rain down His blessing from above us with His love and Grace and a big heaping pile of Mercy to some folks that probably don't deserve it, we remember that Jesus is back with His people. He's with you now. Now now. And as we go into this world and spend this fortune either on private jets or homeless shelters, we can be reminded that we really didn't do anything super special. We didn't invent a free power source like Tesla or convert the deserts to farmland. We're special but we didn't do anything special.
We just got very very lucky. Lucky that the farmers sued, lucky that 13303 was signed, lucky social sites were here, lucky white hats gave all for us, lucky God and grandfather love us, lucky we were told about sovereign rates, just plain lucky.
We are going to meet many people on this journey of the chosen few and as we prepare I keep going back to something that Bruce said: "We may be the only Jesus Christ the people ever meet." They will know Jesus has come back not only thru the food and the jobs the housing and the free day care, but by the love in your eyes and the warmth of your handshake and the conviction of your purpose. Through your eyes, they will know that Jesus stands with them never to leave them alone again. Me likey.
The ride is going to get a little bumpy when it comes to religion soon. We are going to be the New Disciples (that's a good band name) of a brand new religion that is simply LOVE. You don't need a priest or a deacon or a rabbi to find it either. Its a direct connection between one and God. Some aren't going to want to hear that, but I guess that's the price we pay for locking up our financial security till the end of time for all our generations. Good trade!
I believe everyday I'm going to ask Jesus if He'll walk with me and sit in on my business meetings as I organize the blessings and hopefully a little Christiness will rub off on me. And that's the word.
