"RE: Large Sums of Money" - Guest Post by Kurt Wagner
You are not hearing me. Please hear me.
I have no problem giving people money away for free. The issue is not about a welfare state.
The issue is the complete breakdown of production, distribution and services if everyone stops working because they have just been given large sums of money.
The only way to avoid this apparently according to Cinemo Galactic is to trust in the new technologies that will be coming out that will feed people, provide electricity and transportation.
So I am asking him what are those technologies and how quickly will they be implemented?
If those things can be implemented quickly I am all in and will be willing to give money away freely.
If it will take awhile to implement these technologies and people won't work because they have large sums of money, then how will food production and distribution happen in the mean time, or even having gas for transportation in the mean time, or even having electricity or communication in the mean time? Nobody will be working to provide these things.
I think you and Cinemo are correct that it is fear based 3D thinking but relying on new technology we know nothing about or when it will be implemented is an issue. Going on faith that these things will be implemented before everyone starves or freezes to death is a difficult leap for me and from what I was reading other people.
So what is the answer? You tell me. Are we going to go on faith, indiscriminately hand out loads of money and hope it all unfolds ok or is there a way to do this where society can keep functioning at least until all the technology comes into play? Or is there some other solution?
That is my point. Mine was more of a cautious plan to keep things going as I know nothing about this technology. We need to know more. I would like to learn what these technologies are and how quickly these technologies can be implemented.
Good discussions. Thank you.
Divine love to you and yours.
