"Question from a Senior Citizen" - Guest Post by Manuel
This might help you plan.
We have been told that anyone over 70 could opt for a short five year payout due to advanced age.
The other issue is the “Split” between humanitarian and personal use.- you may opt for 35% personal and 65% Humanitarian or even more for personal, if that meets your needs.
The real issue is what do you need for your lifetime (keeping life extension technologies in mind), what do you want to leave to heirs, and what do you want to leave structured for Humanitarian and Charitable Works that live on long after you pass over. You mission may well be to enjoy your final years while leaving a Charitable and Family fortune set up to benefit those you leave behind for years or decades after you have gone.
