Yesterday I gave some poor old bedraggled soul standing at a freeway on-ramp about $2 in quarters.
This person was obviously homeless.
She was so thankful for the money, but I could tell she was even more thankful for the sincere conversation and attention I gave her in the 30 seconds I was there.
These people need love more than anything else.
So if over this Thanksgiving holiday you are in a position to give a little cash to, and some attention and love to a homeless person - please do so.
Monday, I hope to be able to give that person, and all others like her, a fully-staffed, full service place to live.
