"RV/Exchange Window Time?" - Anonymous Guest Post

Entry Submitted Anonymously at 12:31 PM EDT on October 7, 2016

I am trying my best to hang in there, and have patience. However, I don't think the managers of the banks involved; really have a grasp on the exact numbers of people ready to exchange currency. TNT Tony always stated, there was approximately 5 million or more people with currency to exchange. At this point, I think, that number is at best a conservative estimate. Some people have no idea, that not everybody can really participate in this process. If the masses found out about it, it would put a damper on the fire for every one waiting. People are telling others, friends and family members, etc. The number of currency holders are growing more and more... I really don't think the initial first 48 hours of time allotted to schedule appointments and be eligible for private negotiable rates is enough time. Also, 6.2 days is definitely not enough time to be fair to all waiting. I do believe the call center staff, will be overwhelmed, and need further help in fielding the extreme influx of calls. I am afraid that some people's appointments, may not be saved in the system, and when they go to the bank... "NO Appointment on record for you!" I do hope that confirmation numbers are given out to callers. I hope that bank managers will read this entry post, and do a final check on the process about to unfold, and make the necessary changes for better organization. I do hope the RV happens soon...though. NOT next month, or the next, or next year.
