I've been watching things developing in dinarland for what feels like ages. I'm sure many of you out there are in the same boat. I became convinced in 2012, but I've been into the bond thing since the '90s. I know how long this thing can been dragged out, but I do think, given the time and existing conditions around the world at this time,. it could mean that we are on the verge of something dramatically positive is about to spring forth.
Like everyone else, rates and dates I don't know about. Wish I did, but I'm still working, so I can wait longer if I have to. Hopefully, this will happen in short order. We'll just have to wait and see.
What I really want to talk about is goal setting on the large scale. I remember back in the early sixties when Jack Kennedy set the goal to put a man on the Moon by the end of the decade. That was a goal for the ages. It showed why he was one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country, and helped transform our country in many ways, both socially and technologically.
Now, we are on the verge of equally transformative times. And, to my way of thinking, we need to set a goal equal to these times, just as JFK did over fifty years ago.
Many you have laudable intentions of helping the poor, taking care of the elderly, supporting our veterans, etc.. I applaud your intentions. But to my way of thinking, we need to rally around a central vision, a major goal that we should set, so we know what we are doing and why we are doing it. This is important to focus on, because without a goal, we could wander around in the desert for many years without knowing where we're headed and what we are doing. Without setting a proper goal as to where we're going, we'll end up going nowhere and miss our chance to take full advantage of what could befall us at any moment.
So, without dancing around the bush any longer, let me propose a goal that I feel we should be working towards. I am not a religious man. I do not believe, like so many of you, that this is a God-driven event. This is a human driven event. To my way of thinking, 'our Father who art in heaven', is a literary concept, not a reality.
However, I do think there is a creator. Her name is Mother Earth. She is the one who gave us the gift of life, and she could be the one who rescinds the gift if we do not act to advance ourselves to the point where we can survive without her. Species come and go. If humanity wants to avoid possible extinction, like so many other species that lived and died before us, we must act together and 'reach for the stars'. That means we must think on a grander scale.
And there is only one logical place for us to go. Space is the place, fellow dinarians. If we are to survive, if we are to reach a place of safety from the very perils like global warming, super volcano eruptions, even extra-terrestrial impacts like the Shoemaker-Levy event that happened to Jupiter, we must be able to leave the planet at a moment's notice. It is time we work towards this version of ascension, IMO. If what we are being told about the value of the Zim is true, and we are given nearly unlimited wealth to fix the planet, we must have a goal as to why we need to fix the planet and where we, as a species, need to go in order to avoid falling victim to our Mother's cloying embrace. We need to leave 'home' like all children who grow to maturity. That will give our Mother a chance to raise more children who might someday join us, and assure us of survival for millennia to come.
We can do this, my fellow dinarians, More than that, we MUST do it. We have the technology. All we need right now is the will to do so. We cannot rely on the politicians to wake up and smell the coffee. They are creatures of a past, headed for their own demise even though they cannot see it. So, it is left for us to do what we must, for all those descendants who may follow. We are in the right place and the right time to make this happen. So, we must act if given the resources that we may be receiving as the result of a once in forever opportunity. Anything else, to my way of thinking, will be a great loss for the future of our species and the world we were born to.
Let's rise to this obligation, and make it happen. Anything less would make us unworthy of the 'gift' we may be about to recieve. Tomorrow lies just over the horizon. We cannot falter now, with our 'blessing' so close to coming to fruition.
