Crossing Over Your Red Sea: Encouragement for the Heavy-Laden
I wanted to reach out to you today to encourage you who are heavy-laden, confused and broken-hearted. Be of good cheer! Today is Yom Kippur and this day has deep spiritual meaning and signifies a year of jubilee, rest, forgiveness of all debts and a returning to your land and property.
"Leviticus 25 ordains a sabbath year, one in every seven (Lev. 25:1-7), and a jubilee year, one in every fifty (Lev. 25:8-17), to sanctify Israel’s internal economy. In the sabbath year, each field was to lie fallow, which appears to be a sound agricultural practice. The year of jubilee was much more radical. Every fiftieth year, all leased or mortgaged lands were to be returned to their original owners, and all slaves and bonded laborers were to be freed (Lev. 25:10)." As I read the posts here in Dinarland, I sense the mass mixture of emotions and the push pull of faith to fear and I completely understand it. However, I would like for a moment to offer a broader perspective. Many of you are in dire situations that require urgent hydration of funds. I understand your pain. The past few weeks, I have been tormented with thoughts of fear and doubt, which is not normal for me, but I have to conclude that it is the "army of the aliens that must be put to flight". We are in a sense being "smoked out" and all the negative thought patterns and low vibrations are being dissolved. We are being tested, and not because God is mean, it's quite the opposite. He is preparing us for the great and wondrous tasks we all have ahead of us.
I urge you Dear Ones, do not forget God/Source/Universe in this process. It would be easy to say that we haven't, but then why are we so afraid? Why are we so angry and pointing fingers? This is Gods RV, not ours. We have been graciously invited to the party and all we've been asked to do is to simply get ready. If we continue to worry, it will only delay us further and will make our bodies sick. Surrender, ask for forgiveness for today is the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).
"When a Truth student starts out to demonstrate, he or she should never turn back. 'Let not that man who wavers think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.' So man should never compromise: 'Having done all - Stand.' This is sometimes the most difficult time of demonstrating. The temptation comes to give up, to turn back, to compromise. 'He also serves who only stands and waits.' Demonstrations often come at the eleventh hour because man then lets go, that is, stops reasoning and Infinite Intelligence has a chance to work." -Florence Shinn, The Game of Life and How to Play It
We must not limit the channels that God can come through by clenching on to the RV. The RV will happen. The 800 number will come. If you have an immediate need ask God will provide for you through another channel or channels until the release of the RV. He has thousands of channels, not just one and he loves to take care of you.
Many times when we want something, so, so, so badly, we end up pushing it away instead of allowing it to come to us. "My ships come to me over a calm sea". There is a strong power in the Law of Indifference and of letting go. How can you receive if your hands are clenched into tightly balled up fists?
We cut off our own good by limiting God and his channels in our mind by being obsessed with the "how". Let go of the how, that is Gods business, not yours. All suffering comes from leaving yourself and going in to other people's business, or Gods business. Stay in your business. Your job is to follow your intuitive leads (your hunches), to have fearless faith and use your spoken word to manifest your desires (for words become things).
B R E A T H E. Smile! Go outside and let the sun shine on your face. You are alive and every cell in your body is filled with light.
"Maybe you need a financial miracle! There is supply for every demand. Through active faith, the word, and intuition, we release this invisible supply". -Florence Shovel Shinn, The Secret Door to Success
When I think about what we are going through right now as a collective, it really reminds me of the Israelites coming out of Egypt (for the word "Egypt" means darkness). In the same way, we are also coming out of our own darkened mentality, the veil is being lifted and we are waking up to our good and to the Truth.
The Israelites were crushed by the system and by the Pharaoh of Oppression for hundreds of years. Sound familiar? Think about that story, and about how many times Moses went to Pharaoh to demand that he let the Israelites go. Pharaoh would said "Yes". The people would get excited! They started packing their things! And planning their amazing future! And then Pharaoh would change his mind and say "No!". Ah! Such great disappointment! Such an up and down roller coaster ride of emotions! Like a dangling carrot. Sound familiar?
However, the Israelites finally were released from Egypt and went out into the desert to celebrate their freedom from years of oppression and bondage. And then...they came upon the Red Sea and were cornered by Pharaoh's men as Pharaoh had changed his mind...again!
In my opinion, Dear Ones, this is where we are. We are standing in front of our Red Sea and it looks impossible. It looks scary. It looks like we may fail and like we may perish. But we will not perish. God did not bring us this far to leave us for dead in the desert. God loves you, you are his child and his long arm extends out before you, controlling this situation and protecting your interests. Do not be afraid. Lean in to Him.
"The Lord said to Moses 'lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea'
So never doubting, he said to the children of Israel 'Go forward.' This was a daring thing to do, to lead a multitude of people into the sea, having perfect faith they would not drown. Behold the miracle!
'...the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
Now remember this could happen for you this very day. Think of your problem. Maybe you have lost your initiative for living so long a slave to Pharoah-(your doubts, fears and discouragements).
Say to yourself 'Go forward.'
'....the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind.' We will think of this east wind as a strong affirmation.
Take a vital affirmation (prayer) of truth. For example: if your problem is a financial one, you could say: 'My supply comes from God, and big happy financial surprises now come to me, under grace, in perfect ways.'
We are told that God works in mysterious ways, these are His wonders to perform. Now that you have made your statement of supply, you have caused the ease wind to blow. So walk up to your Red Sea of lack or limitation (fear, disbelief, indecision) and show fearlessness as Moses did." -Florence Shinn, The Game of Life and How to Play It
So now, have faith and rest. We now enter in to our Promised Land. We now walk up to our Red Sea and watch a miracle unfold. Be at Peace. God is with us.
With Love and Gratitude,
