"WF News is Old" - Fri. PM TNT Thoughts

TNT

Freeway2:

When I went to WF to open an account, I ask about the Dong Rate, and it hadn't changed. They gave me a Business Card that had four first names on it and under their names, "Foreign Currency Tellers" then Wells Fargo and address. I wondered in a small branch why 4 Foreign Currency Tellers.

Herekemiah:
WF news is old... they are now just talking about the suit and what they will pay... it is no longer practiced

Buckeyefan:
Wells Fargo got busted but remember this is over 5yrs so I wonder why is this coming out now? Has this been going on gradually and now the number is big and fees it hits the media

OkRocks:
Buckeye I agree... they are trying to sway the public away to the other banks imo ... in your head lol

GJHHonor:
imo they want to scare the dinarians and make sure the people still think the rv is a scam

Flagof:
as a retired bank CFO I think what WF was doing was deplorable...but at this point it is a money grab by agencies (fines) that have nothing to do with regulating banks…. would need to know what percentage of branches took part...seems as though that may be concentrated i.e LA area...problem is with cross selling pressure which I was usually against

OkRocks:
To prove my point of trying to sway the people away from WF the last statement in article: "If I were a Wells Fargo customer, and fortunately I am not, I'd think seriously about finding a new bank."

Gfclef:
feeling sad about the Wells Fargo fiasco, because it may have delayed the announcement, but feeling glad that they addressed it before the RV and we had deposited our money.

T-Bone:
here is something interesting. My stepson just called from the east coast. He is manager of a Pizza hut. Six Wells fargo bank locations phoned in separate orders this morning for pizza at the bank. Ya think there may be some meetings going on? I hope they are RV related and not management appologizing for firing 5800 people over the last few years for setting up extra accounts and collecting bonuses (they did it to me)...

Aerospaceman:
so i was thinking, it happened at WF, check.

we've been hearing for years about dinarians getting accounts with nothing in them, and bankers letting them do that thinking RV was just around the corner, Check.

Then last week a TNT member posted a story about WF Tellers quitting after completing Foreign exchange training, as they bought Dinar after the training, then quit their jobs. Check.
