Economy News / Baghdad ...

Parliamentary Finance Committee announced its intention to reduce the total expenses of the federal budget for next year to about 80 trillion dinars.

The committee member said Hossam punitive in a statement that "operating expenses rate for the new budget is estimated at 102 trillion dinars, and the parliamentary bent because the spending rate is between 2015 to 2016 is the actual scale to estimate the total budget next year," noting that "the parliamentary committee will resort to reducing expenditures size that does not exceed 80 trillion dinars in total, so there is not any justification for excess disbursements. "

"The decline in world oil prices over the last two and a lack of real coordination between the figures estimated in the budget and the global oil price inflation, as well as the vast difference between the speculative revenues of the state and the actual collection, is Madf the Council of Ministers as well as the parliamentary finance committee to monitor the registration of actual income and expenditure control in the federal budget. "

"The Council of Ministers barrel rate of $ 35 adopted a logical and acceptable price because prices generally rate for the years 2015 to 2016 did not exceed that number."

The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on yesterday for the cabinet vote on the budget for fiscal 2017.
