Parliamentary Finance: customs revenues will amount to more than a billion dollars a year

Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the revenue obtained from the customs border crossings rate will rise to weakness after the application of the new law.

The committee member said Jabbar al-Abadi said "the number of official border crossings has 49 outlets across the provinces / except for some other informal outlets in Kurdistan / province, and the rate of revenue of customs fees up around 500-600 million dollars a year."

He explained, "After the implementation of the new law and the administration of the unified body will increase the rate of those revenues more than doubled to reach more than a billion dollars annually."

He added that "all the border crossings link Authority uniform makes the laws and regulations issued by the federal authority applied in all provinces without exception," noting that "under the law given to border crossings body validity of the proposal to the Cabinet to close any border port of Aaltzm the regulations in force, and therefore the unity of decision chairmanship of the Commission will decide the controversial red tape. "

"The presence of the body will eliminate the Alkmarki evasion and non-payment of tariff duties at border crossing points, and will enable the state departments of local product protection."

The House of Representatives recently voted on the legislation of border crossings into law.

A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo to visit Iraq after the Eid al-Adha, to discuss trade between the two countries.

Said Vice President of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce Ali Shukri told a news briefing, the formation of a delegation to visit the city of Basra State of Iraq, after the end of Eid al-Adha holiday; to promote investment opportunities in the Egyptian market, and put all the data in front of businessmen in Iraq, in respect of investment affairs in Egypt and facilities carried out by the government to attract investors and investment opportunities that can be taken advantage of the Iraqi side.

He revealed Shukri, that "The delegation will also discuss, discuss increasing trade exchange between the two countries, which currently do not commensurate with the historical relations between them, pointing out that the chamber is seeking to strengthen and develop economic relations, to activate the export, import and take advantage of investment opportunities, and find ways of mutual cooperation business in Egypt and Iraq.

He noted that "it is essential that both governments and business organizations working to facilitate and pave the way for business and remove the obstacles they face, and a business to complete the road in order to promote people's lives for the better standard of living."

Iraq index rises to support stocks hotels and banks.

Live: market general index rose Iraq stock exchange by the end of trading Sunday, supporting stocks hotels and banks.

The General index climbed at the close of trading today 0.33%, up to a level of 559.02 points, winning 1.85 points from Thursday's hearing levels.

Pointer support today high 7 shares, 3 of them with banking and commercial bank issued by 4.76 percent, as the Bank increased Assyria 3.45%.

The banking sector included the most active arrow; where active bank issued stock Baghdad today volume and value traded 270.78 million shares, valued at 209.26 million dinars.

Either the hotel industry, saw growth of 10% Baghdad hotel shares, the gainers today.

Industry shares diverged today to rise 1.61 percent, pharmaceutical Mansour while Iraqi arrow to manufacture and market dates the holdouts by 2.94%.

Today's turnover increased to 525.53 million shares compared to 339.4 million shares in the last session, liquidity rose to 359.63 million dinars 217.09 million dinars on Thursday.

The US Embassy in Baghdad outweighed, on Sunday, the IMF projects growth in non-oil sectors in Iraq by the year 2018, Iraq has revealed that a candidate for accession to the WTO, pointed to the need for the Iraqi Government, some of the main reforms to improve the investment climate, the World Bank and Washington identified sectors that could be developed to contribute to attracting investment in Iraq.

And the US Embassy spokesman in Baghdad, Kim Dubois in a press statement, that ' Iraq need financial stability to develop so that the standby agreements the IMF credit and related support will help facilitate stronger financial position over the next few years, especially with a slight rise in oil prices, returned to Iraq ' need to focus on ensuring the stability of the oil sector and expanding non-oil revenue sources.

Dubois said that ' the IMF projects growth in non-oil sectors of Iraq's economy will be slow through the year 2016, and then begins to rise by the year 2018 ', adding that ' non-oil investment productivity is crucial for Iraqis '.
